Religious Tolerance

"Mom, when I'm a freshman can I go to the prom if I get asked?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Ask your father what senior boys want. That's why."

"What about when I'm a sophomore?"

"No."

*sigh*

"Well, what if he's Mormon?"

"Yes."

Nice! Now you'll just have to be on the look-out for boys who are only pretending to be Mormon.

Ha!
We've made a solemn vow: no dating. Ever. Or until 17. That's final.

Hubby was in the Army with a few Mormons. He would echo your sentiments because he maintains they were the only virgins in the entire military!

That's a prom date I can get behind. She's a clever one.

LOL! My mom flipped out when my niece (16) became a Mormon. I explained to her that however she may feel about the religion, she would be much safer going through her high school years as a Mormon than she would as a Wiccan, which is what she was raised as.

I like that rule and believe I will adopt it. Only dating Mormons. Until she is 30.

---sigh-- can I heart your blog any more than I do already? Oh, and I like taut,pore-less and youthful skin, so can I comment lots of times?

Hahahaha! A nice Mormon boy took my little sister to their senior prom. Now that I think about it, maybe that's why she was allowed to go? LOL!

Dude, if I'd known that trick half of my boyfriends would have been Mormon!
