This Morning....
"Mama, how old are you?"
"Thirty-six."
"Are you old?"
"No, sweetie. I don't feel old."
"No, you're not old. You don't have any cracks in your face yet."
Hallmark, do you hear this? THIS is a greeting card.

If you can get him to say that to me I'll leave him all my possessions as well!
You must have been leaving comments on your own blog. I swear it's working for me!
Out of the mouths of babes! What a love.
Oh that is too funny! They say the funniest things, don't they?
Sniff! That's beautiful!
Are you at the toy store buying him anything he wants right now!?
Smart boy!
I'm 36 too and am starting to see some new little cracks on my forehead! ACK!
I feel weepy just reading this. I love that kid.
LOL! Oh yeah.
The other night my 5-year-old told me in all seriousness, "Mommy there's this lotion on TV and it takes away ALL YOUR WRINKLES!"
Fantastic! :)
Lucky you! I'm 38 and I've got lots of cracks!
You should definitely start a new line of greeting cards because I would love to receive one that said I didn't have any cracks on my face! If only....
Gotta love him!
and isn't that the half of it? no cracks in the face? i swear, it's botox for me soon.
My Mom told Sweet Pea she was 39 years old. Later, she fessed up to her real age of 64.
I happen to REALLY be 39. Sweet Pea doesn't believe me.
I think I love him.
Can you pay him to come over here and tell me I'm simply too thin for my age?
Oh my goodness! That is too sweet.
I'm lovin' your blog. I found you via Madam Queen. Hope you don't mind but I love what I've read so far so much that I've linked to you from my blog.
Will be back!
Oh Lord, I am afraid of what the post will be like when he DOES spot a crack!
... uh many years from now of course. If ever. Ahem.
With lines like that, he's going to be President.
You should run out and buy him a PONY right NOW!
Awwww. What better compliment could you get?
Unfortunately, I am in need of some major spackle!
That kid's a keeper. Don't throw him back.
Jenn - REally?? YAY!
And I actually did pull him out of school for a mommy playdate. Not because of what he said - but it sure helps ;)
I LOVE him. He can have everything in my will, too.
