Watch Out! His Wife Can Give You 'Roids!

File this one under "I read this on the news and suddenly I despair for the plight of human beings who will sue/be aggressive and mean at the drop of a hat" or, just file it under "dumb."

Apparently this man:

You know, Joel Osteen from the Live Your Best Life phenomenon? The Texas preacher who has changed the lives of a lot (I say a lot because I don't know - thousands? millions?) of people has a wife with a bit of a pretty princess complex.

Here's the Pretty Princess with her prince:

And here is the flight attendant who says that Pretty Princess elbowed her in the breast and basically gave her the smackdown, because there was a stain on Pretty Princess's first class seat. A...a...stain? On public transportation? Especially over-priced transportation that serves to make rich people feel like they're getting something better First Class?

My favorite part of the AP news article? In the lawsuit, the flight attendant claims that as a result of the incident, which granted - must have been a pain in the ass to endure, was literally a pain in the ass for her to endure. She is suing because she says the resultant stress has given her anxiety and....HEMORRHOIDS.

Haven't we all been there at one time or another? The kids are yelling and giving us a headache and we sit down to just catch a moment and wham! out pops another hemorrhoid.

I totally hate that.

It must be really bad for her to admit this in public!

Its a sad fact that if you're famous you're an easier target to get sued. Although if she did beat up the flight attendant maybe she should get sued.

I laughed so hard, I got a hemorrhoid. And now I will sue you. Oh my goodness -- don't you just see stuff like that and think, "Isn't there something going on in Darfur or somewhere that deserves more attention?" HIGH-larious.

OMG I am laughing so hard! Roids, I can't believe that...so funny. How can you keep a straight face in court while fighting that! How! Good story, somehow I've missed that in the news.

Yeah, I guess I'm going to have to take Max to court because pushing him out gave me some HUGE ones, and I've never really recovered.

What a pain in the ass that woman is.

I'm not sure I would admit that in public. Just don't think I could have the whole world thinking but my rear end and whatever might be hanging out of it.

Just couldn't do it...

Are you kidding? Who would admit that? Crazy! People are crazy! And, that wife looks like a PITA anyway.

ok, IF this woman's claims are possible, living with my five kids, I wouldn't have a need for shoes anymore. I would be hemorrhoids ON hemorroids. I do have stains on my sofa though, so I'm wondering if it's alright to elbow the next person I find eating in my living room...

Thanks for the kind thoughts earlier this week.

I saw that and could not stop laughing.

It reminded me of a jury I sat on a few years back...a guy was walking around a building (at midnight) and took a tumble. That fall caused him to suffer from incontenance and the inability to have "relations with his wife".

Somehow I did not really see the connection.

I understand your blogging thoughts. I have been mulling many of your questions of late.

I read this story. I have to say that I think she is a twit and that her husband has a bit of a Princess Complex as well. I'm skeptical of his whole prosperity based Christianity. I once flipped onto him and he was giving a sermon about the importance of shopping at Whole Foods.
